Restorative Practices
Helping students grow and heal
Restorative practices are a cornerstone of the ALC, literally present in every classroom and written on the wall to guide the behaviors of a restorative school community.
Believing in repairing harm and accounting for the truth to allow students to grow and heal, the ALC practices using consensus decision making including a shared responsibility for the decisions impacting school community and culture.
There are opportunities in the St. Croix Valley ALC to share with one another in peacemaking, learning circles, healing circles, accountability circles and more!
