ALC students embrace imperfection
Students in the ALC are learning to embrace imperfection by practicing the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi. It involves putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold. The 400-year-old technique actually highlights the "scars" as a part of the design. It teaches that in the process of repairing broken things, we can actually create something more unique, beautiful and resilient.
